NEIGHBORHOOD

Spanic Attack seeks out links of locality and affinity, operating in [urb!] orbitals from the South Bronx to the city that [almost] contains it and into the transnational fold.

As a non-profit, we grow organically along the South Bronx, and proudly embrace its many strands, strains and sounds. Our commitment is to promote the role of neighborhood in creative living and its artists/culture workers (through concerts, exhibits, readings, workshops, and our trademark festivals in galleries, schools, art spaces, and in neighbor's houses) while bringing art from across town or across the continent to The Hub that is the South Bronx, fostering collaborations that bridge geography, ideologies and aesthetics.

The South Bronx is an art site and a life site:
we cite in and re-cite it.
